Our Story
Nestled in the heights of Charlevoix, TERACEA was born from a shared passion for open spaces and architecture between two visionary friends and entrepreneurs. In 2009, Florent Moser and Alain Rajotte, captivated by the region’s beauty, set out to create a harmonious collection of architect-designed chalets built into the mountainside, on a 6-million-square-foot estate overlooking the St. Lawrence River and La Malbaie.
Today, twenty villas and five pavilions offer a tranquil retreat for those seeking inspiration and serenity in nature.
Our Promise:
distinctive quality
Our mission is to offer exceptional getaway experiences, where every stay is in perfect harmony with nature. Each architect-designed chalet reflects our admiration for thoughtful, elegant design.
We prioritize eco-conscious practices and are committed to engaging local talent, actively contributing to the region’s economy.
Together, we work each day to ensure respect for the community, nature, and refined living coexist in harmony.
Where architecture honors nature
With a deep respect for the spectacular setting of Cap-à-l’Aigle, TERACEA is composed of exceptional properties, seamlessly integrated into their surroundings through sustainable construction practices.
Local engineers and renowned Quebec architects helped bring our vision to life, ensuring that the development prioritized locally sourced materials and resources to minimize environmental impact."We are committed to promoting and supporting local artisans and professionals—creators who have the talent to achieve great things with the resources around them." — Florent Moser
The majority of materials and labor used in the construction of the chalets are sourced from across Quebec.
