About the property
Entirely designed by a self-taught architecture enthusiast, this intimate chalet carries the elegance of revealing itself only to those who inhabit it. Florent Moser, a Quebecer with Swiss roots, drew inspiration from his many travels across Europe to create Les Arches, a structure infused with both his cultural influences. The upper section resembles a small barn, featuring naturally sun-aged silvered wood. The lower section, however, remains hidden from view. Upon arrival, you have no idea what lies ahead. It’s only by descending to the first level that its full scale becomes apparent. Carved into the ground and lined with large windows along its entire length, the lower floor makes a statement with its five stone arches, evoking the architecture of European monasteries and bridges. Heated cobblestone floors give the impression of standing in a village square. Two spacious suites are positioned at opposite ends of the living areas, ensuring maximum privacy for the occupants. The orientation of Les Arches was carefully designed to maximize sunlight throughout the day. A pool, accompanied by a pavilion that mirrors the upper section of the house, adds further comfort and delight to this residence, nestled in a region as majestic as the chalet itself.
