About the property

La Charbonnière exudes a quiet confidence, perfectly at home in the surrounding landscape. Overlooking the St. Lawrence River while firmly rooted in the terrain, its charred cedar exterior contrasts with its bright and expansive interior, blending rustic charm with refined sophistication. It embodies a delicate balance between opposing forces.

At the heart of the chalet, a large retractable glass wall opens onto an inner courtyard, erasing the boundary between indoors and outdoors. Heated flooring made of raw, large stone extends seamlessly onto the terrace, enhancing the feeling of living in close harmony with nature.

The chalet offers two spacious podium-style bedrooms, each positioned apart from the other to ensure complete privacy. A sauna with panoramic views of the river and mountains, floor-to-ceiling windows, and long sofas arranged to admire the ever-changing scenery of the river create spaces designed for peace and balance.
